Valerie Lee has a Master's of Science in Biology from Loma Linda University. She joined the College of Western Idaho (CWI) Tutoring Services team as Assistant Director in January 2020. Prior to working at CWI, she spent seven years in higher education doing a variety of things: teaching introductory biology courses including anatomy & physiology lectures and labs, advising students (mostly pre-med), and working in Career and Testing Services. Though she loved teaching, she found that some of her most fulfilling moments were working one-on-one with students to develop their study and test taking skills, so she was thrilled to be able to transition into Tutoring full time. She is passionate about education and loves being able to help tutors and students reach their educational and professional goals.
