Richard Moss has been employed as a Student Success Coach at Pulaski Technical College since 2009. His efforts have helped minority males transfer from two-year colleges to four-year colleges and universities, while securing several thousands of dollars in scholarship funds. Richard serves as a campus liaison for the Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Program. Richard earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Master’s degree in Public Administration, both from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Policy, with a higher education specialization, at the University of Arkansas. His research interests lie in the areas of student retention, African American males, and student affairs.
Prior to coming to Pulaski Technical College, Richard worked for the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service as a Program Associate in Community and Economic Development. Richard was a member of Leadership Greater Little Rock, Class XXII and serves on program’s Alumni Board of Directors. He also serves as the Board Chair for the Pulaski County Council for Children, Community and Youth Services. He is a Life Member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and is past president of The Young Black Professionals of Arkansas.
