Keyna Wintjen has over 15 years of experience in community colleges working to increase learning and promote equitable outcomes for students, with an emphasis on student retention, teaching, and coaching. She earned her B.S. in Mathematics from Birmingham-Southern College and is completing her master’s in Research and Methodology from the University of Florida. For the past 7 years, she has worked at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida as the Activity Coordinator of SF’s Learning Commons, the hub for comprehensive academic support for students. In this role, she has developed an academic success coaching program for both faculty and peer coaches, serves as an academic success coach and mentor, and has led hundreds of professional development workshops for students, staff, and faculty.
