José Gustavo Melara has been teaching at Front Range Community College since 1994, where he has taught English Composition, Humanities, Literature and Spanish. During his time at Front Range, he has served as lead of the Spanish discipline and has taken students to Mexico on three different occasions as part of the Study Abroad Program. Gustavo has also taught at the University of
Cincinnati, Xavier University and the University of Colorado. He has presented several papers on French and Spanish literature in New York, Cincinnati and Colorado. Besides teaching, he loves reading, writing, classical music and playing soccer.
