Bryce Bunting, Ph.D., is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Student Development Services at Brigham Young University (BYU), with a concurrent appointment as the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Education and Director of the First-Year Experience. In this role he has broad oversight for all new student and first-year programming at BYU, including New Student Orientation, First-Year Mentoring, and the First-Year Seminar. He has presented widely on learning mindsets in the first-year, and was a member of the faculty for the 2017 Institute on Growth Mindset and Student Resilience. Bryce currently serves on the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of The First-Year Experience & Students in Transition, and as an Affiliate Scholar and National Advisory Board Member for the National Resource Center for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition.
