Austin Tome Bio: Austin Tome received a Master’s of Science in Applied Psychology from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. He served as an embedded tutor in mathematics at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) from Fall 2018 for Summer 2020, before being hired as the Integrated Tutoring Coordinator for the institution in Fall 2020. In this role, Austin oversees embedded tutoring across all five physical HACC campuses in addition to remote course offerings. He is highly passionate about optimizing the student experience, with a specific emphasis on the impact of tutoring. Austin thoroughly believes that the connection and rapport established between students and tutors is a catalyst for lifelong learning for all involved.
