Angelica McMillan joined Front Range Community College’s Humanity and Fine Arts department in 1996. Her commitment to students has been recognized with various awards, including the Vice President’s “Unsung Hero Award,” and peer and student nominations for Master Teacher. During her tenure at FRCC, she has taught traditional and online classes, served as lead of the Spanish and Humanities discipline, lead of online Humanities, and as Chair of her department. Having completed multiple MOOCS (massive open online courses), she has had the opportunity to revisit the classroom as a student. Her role as online instructor and student ultimately means that Angelica not only understands both sides of the virtual classroom, but can also share relevant tips for success for online students.
